After careful review of Mayer Hawthorne’s “I Wish It Would Rain” , Management can only conclude that the artist is no more than R&B crooner Robin Thicke’s long lost bastard brother. Illegitimate and whatnot. However, its almost as if one waters down Sprite with .. water. What’s the point?
Management would like for Mr. Hawthorne to take a little time off to perfect the craft. Not that he’s … horrible or anything, but his sound isn’t as toe tapping as a Hall & Oats nor Mr. White Bread extraordinaire himself Justin Timberlake.
